If you had a choice between African American Generations of Dreams Barbie or the Caucasian Barbie doll.?
Which one would you get??
I have the Caucasian one, the reason why was because since it was a part of the 2009 50th Anniversary celebrating Barbie, it made more sense to buy BARBIE. Though she isn’t my favorite, she is the center-piece of my display because she represents Barbie’s 50 years even more so than (reproductions) of the original swimsuit Barbie. I think I might buy the African-American one too though, I got the Caucasian one at Big Lots for $20 (she was the last one)! I love going there to buy collector Barbie dolls, I had never noticed before that a lot of collector dolls end up there 6-12 months after their release.
